In Home Microdemabrasion

In my constant search for home beauty treatments that work, I came across an ad for a home microdermabrasion system that sounded AWESOME! It used real diamonds to exfoliate dead skin and a vacuum to clear it away. I should have known when they said that it had "diamond exfoliation" that it would mean that it was overpriced, but I went online to purchase it immediately.

I always read reviews before I make an online purchase and I have to say that the reviews for this very expensive machine were not very good. Although the machine cost what just 3 microdermabrasion treatments in a salon cost, I didn't want to just throw away my money!

So I started doing some research to find a product that DID have good reviews. I was surprised to see excellent reviews for a tiny little device by Neutrogena that cost under $20. It couldn't be much compared to the one I was looking at that was over $250, could it?

On, the Neutrogena Microdermabrasion System has 4.2 out of 5 stars with 246 customer reviews. THAT is awesome! So I ordered one just before Christmas and shortly after I had a salon chemical peel. I can honestly tell you that this little $15.99 tool did more for my skin than the chemical peel. I immediately could feel a big difference in the texture of my skin. After using it for a few weeks, I stopped getting those annoying little breakouts. After using it for a few months, I noticed a big difference in the brightness of my skin.

It has a battery operated vibrating base where you attach a disposable "puff". You dampen it, and massage your face for just 1-2 minutes per area. Don't get carried away, because you'll have issues with red, irritated skin if you do! When you're done, you just rinse your face with water, toss the puff in the trash, and you're finished.

My husband likes to use it, too - and one side bonus - One night when I used it I had a terrible sinus headache and the vibration and massage really helped clear my sinuses! THAT beats using a neti pot any day.

I'm very impressed with this product and I am not being compensated in any way to endorse this! I am truly just tellin'  you that it's a great product. You can pick it up at Walgreen's or Target on your next shopping trip!

If you try it, come back and comment here to let me know if you like it!
